Deep sector experience: With more than 30 years partnering with the NSW Department of Education through the Assisted School Travel program, JACE Transport has extensive, practical knowledge of transporting children with disabilities and complex behavioural needs. That long history means we understand safety protocols, school processes and effective communication with families and support teams.
Highly trained, carefully vetted drivers: All our drivers are subject to rigorous screening, including background checks, qualifications and ongoing training in disability support, behaviour management and safe vehicle operation. We hire and retain drivers who combine professionalism with compassion.
Person-centred care: Every passenger receives respect and dignity. We tailor our approach to each child’s needs — from mobility assistance and behavioural supports to communication strategies — working closely with families, schools and support coordinators to deliver reliable, consistent care.
Flexible and budget-aware service: We work with a range of funding arrangements, including NDIS packages, to provide transparent, cost-effective transport and attendant care solutions. We’re happy to discuss options that fit your budget and support plan while keeping quality and safety front of mind.
Reliability and continuity: Longstanding relationships with schools, families and support services allow us to deliver dependable routes and consistent staffing, which is vital for children who benefit from routine and familiar carers.
Compliance and safety focus: Our fleet and procedures meet all relevant safety and regulatory standards. Regular vehicle maintenance, incident management protocols and continuous improvement practices ensure a safe journey every time.
Collaborative approach: We communicate proactively with families, schools and allied professionals to coordinate transport plans, share relevant updates and adapt services as needs change.
JACE Transport combines specialised experience, rigorous staff standards and a flexible, client-focused approach to deliver safe, respectful and dependable transport for children with disability and complex needs.

NDIS transport funding provides financial support to participants who cannot use public transport due to their disabilityIt helps pay for taxis, ride-shares, or support worker transport.
Eligibility: To get funding, you must show that your disability prevents you from using public transport (e.g., train, bus) independently.
What it Covers: Costs for getting to work, school, or community activities. It generally does not cover travel for non-disability purposes

Encouraging the participant to do things for themselves where possible
Teaching life skills such as budgeting, catching public transport, or using technology
